    What are the registration deadlines?
    Pre-Registration Deadline is Friday, April 21st, 2017. We will continue to accept registrations right until race start, but after that date we can't guarantee your race T-Shirt or that you will get as many race "goodies" if you register later.

    How do I sign up to Race, Sponsor, or Volunteer?
    We use the RunSignUp service to process our online sign-ups. That's the best way to register. You can also print a registration form from the registration page of our site. Sponsors can also donate via that service or print a form as well. Contact us to volunteer via the Contact Form.

    Do I actually have to RUN the whole thing?
    No! You may run, walk, skip (or even crawl) to the finish line. There are no rules that you have to be an experienced runner to be a participant in this event.

    What are the proceeds from this event supporting?
    The proceeds (after event costs) go directly to the Stuart Alumni Scholarship Fund and are then disbursed to scholarship recipients as determined by the applicant committee.

    Is the race time-chipped?
    Yes, the 5K distance is electronically timed via bibs with timing chips attached. The 1-Mile distance participants will be given a bib with number, but that distance will not be time-chipped, and no timed awards will be given for the 1-Mile distance. All participants will receive a finisher medal.

    Is the 5K course certified or timed?
    Yes, the course will be USATF-certified. It will be timed by I:40 Race Service.

    Will there be spectator and participant restroom facilities and seating provided?
    We will have restroom facilities available at the race start/finish area, and there will be limited seating inside the outreach building. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you bring a foldable chair if you will need to be seated as you watch the race outside!

    What if the event is cancelled due to inclement weather?
    We really, really hope this never happens, but...In the event that the weather doesn't cooperate, you will still receive your race T-Shirt, "goodies", and a finisher medal. You WILL NOT, however, receive a refund of the race entry fee, as this was all for a GREAT CAUSE, and we still want to donate the proceeds to the scholarship fund.

    Will there be refreshments available during the event?
    The race participants and volunteers will have water and small snacks available to them before, during, and after the event. As for spectators, we are working on coordinating some vendors that may have food available for purchase. We will keep you posted!
